14.2.2024 : PETALING JAYA : All civil servants will be evaluated under a few Demerit Performance Evaluation System (DEEP) starting this year, according to the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali. Under the new system, everyone will begin with 100 marks at the start of the year, and a failure to meet their key performance index (KPI) or to implement the assigned task will result in a demerit. 31.1.2024 : SULTAN Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar begins his reign as the country's 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong today. His Majesty will rule for five years, taking over from Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who ended his term yesterday. Sultan Ibrahim was elected as the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong through the Special 263rd Meeting of the Conference of Rulers on Oct 27, 2023. Full Article
31.1.2024 : MALAYSIANS from all walks of life accorded Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah a royal send-off yesterday as the outgoing Yang di-Pertuan Agong. People began lining up along the streets as early as 7am to bid farewell to Al-Sultan Abdullah and his consort, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, at the end of their five-year reign as king and queen. 22.1.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : In order to raise public awareness of artificial intelligence (AI), civil servants at the federal and state levels have been told to take part and complete the online self-learning "AI untuk Rakyat" programme, launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently. The instruction was issued by Public Service Department director-general Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz via a circular dated Jan 17 that was shared on the department's official Facebook account yesterday. 3.1.2024 : THE new Central Database Hub (Padu) will ensure there are no leakages in the distribution of aid. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who launched the database yesterday, said Malaysians would play a crucial role in ensuring that aid does not go to those who do not need it. Full Article
3.1.2024 : PUTRAJAYA : Putrajaya's newly developed Central Database Hub (Padu) will not just ensure the distribution of aid and subsidies is efficient and reaches their target groups, it will also stop leakages in goverment assistance, says the Prime Minister. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said with Padu in place, those who are not eligible - the 3.5 million foreigners, the wealthy and those in the high-income group - would not be receiving aid as the system would be able to identify them. 12.12.2023 : PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reminded government officers to continue striving for excellence, but at the same time never to abandon the religious values and cultures of the country.
