10.9.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : The newly launched Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Master Plan 2030 (Pikas 2030) needs to be balanced to benefit the whole nation, said an economist. Universiti Kuala Lumpur Business School economic analyst Associate Professor Aimi Zulhazmi Abdul Rashid said PPPs - which are partnerships between the private and public sectors to deliver public services or goods - were the preferred option for the country's development projects. 10.9.2024 : PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim launched the Public-Private Partnership Master Plan 2030 (Pikas 2030), which he says must be governned by firm, resolute and uncompromising principles. 27.8.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has appointed former chief secretary to the government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali as its chairman, effective Sept 1. Zuki, who was the 15th chief secretary to the government, replaces Tan Sri Ahmad Badri Mohd Zahir who has held the post since May 1, 2020. Full Article
26.8.2024 : CHIEF Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, led the list of 299 recipients of state awards, honours, and medals on the 75th birthday of Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Mohd Ali Mohd Rustam yesterday. Shamsul received the Darjah Gemilang Seri Melaka, which carries the title Datuk Seri. Full Article
17.8.2024 : CIVIL servants have been told to increase their productivity following their salary review. In his speech during the 19th Majlis Amanat Perdana Perkhidmatan Awam here yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the increment would not benefit the country if civil servants were stuck in their old habits. 8.8.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : Datuk Seri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, the director-general of the Public-Private Partnership Unit, will be the new chief secretary to the government from Aug 12. Shamsul, 55, will replace Tan Sri Mohd. Zuki Ali, whose contract ends on Aug 10. His appointment has the consent of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia. Full Article
10.7.2024 : PUTRAJAYA : The 2025 Budget must remain focused on achieving the goals set out in the Madani Economy framework, said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. 9.7.2024 : IPOH : DATUK Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and youth movements to heed the government's call to reject corruption, abuse of power and oppression. The prime minister said Prophet Muhammad (SAW), with strong faith, belief and morals, defended rights and upheld justice by rejecting corruption, opression and abuse of power. Full Article
8.7.2024 : PUTRAJAYA : His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, reminded the public not to turn social media platforms into venues for arguments and shaming others, as these actions only contribute to division and conflict.
