22.1.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : In order to raise public awareness of artificial intelligence (AI), civil servants at the federal and state levels have been told to take part and complete the online self-learning "AI untuk Rakyat" programme, launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently. The instruction was issued by Public Service Department director-general Datuk Seri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz via a circular dated Jan 17 that was shared on the department's official Facebook account yesterday. 3.1.2024 : THE new Central Database Hub (Padu) will ensure there are no leakages in the distribution of aid. 3.1.2024 : PUTRAJAYA : Putrajaya's newly developed Central Database Hub (Padu) will not just ensure the distribution of aid and subsidies is efficient and reaches their target groups, it will also stop leakages in goverment assistance, says the Prime Minister. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said with Padu in place, those who are not eligible - the 3.5 million foreigners, the wealthy and those in the high-income group - would not be receiving aid as the system would be able to identify them. 12.12.2023 : PRIME Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim reminded government officers to continue striving for excellence, but at the same time never to abandon the religious values and cultures of the country. 2.12.2023 : CHIEF Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali stated that outdated civil service regulations hindering project implementation would be amended for faster progress, particularly for projects benefiting the people. He has instructed relevant departments. including the Finance Ministry, Economy Ministry, Public Service Department, and Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu), to study the amendments. 28.11.2023 : MALAYSIA stands to benefit from Thailand's proposal to construct a port and a land bridge that will bypass the Straits of Malacca.
