3.12.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : The government has allocated additional funds for post-flood follow-up measures expected to start in mid-December, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister said that based on a report by his deputy Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who chairs the National Disaster Management Committee, floodwaters in some areas have started to recede. 24.10.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : The country's construction sector recorded an impressive 17.3% growth in the third quarter of 2024, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. The Prime Minister said this was the first time the sector has seen double-digit growth since 2014. Full Article
24.10.2024 : KUALA LUMPUR : The construction sector grew 17.3 per cent up to the third quarter of the year. In a speech read out by Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said 11,980 projects worth RM150.2 billion were awarded in the first nine months of the year. 19.10.2024 : MALAYSIA has for the first time, introduced an annual budget that exceeds RM400 billion. The focus continues to be on safeguarding the people's wel-being and driving economic growth, which has been revised upwards to 4.8 to 5.3 per cent for 2024, from 4.0 to 5.0 per cent. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yesterday tabled a spending bill of RM421 billion, or 20.0 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP) for 2025. Full Article
