10.4.2022 : KUALA LUMPUR : The National Science Council has discussed the National Nanotechnology and Products Roadmap 2021-2025, which should be applied to various industries, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. He said that it was in line with the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0), especially in fields such as smart agriculture, renewable energy, halal industry, and medical technology. Full Article
5.4.2022 : TOLL rates involving highways in the Klang Valley operated by four concessionaires will remain unchanged until the end of the respective concession periods. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced this yesterday and said this was achieved after the government agreed to the proposed restructuring of the four highway concessionaires. 5.4.2022 : PETALING JAYA : The toll rates on six highways in the Klang Valley will remain unchanged until the end of the concession period - with three likely to see the toll lifted earlier. Three others, however, may see an extension, although much will depend on the traffic volume. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, who announced a restructuring of four highway concession companies, said it would also save the government about RM4.3bil in toll subsubsidy. 20.2.2022 : KUALA LUMPUR : Small and informal businesses looking to bounce back from the Covid-19 pandemic now have access to a wide array of financing aid under the Semarak Niaga Keluarga Malaysia programme. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the RM40bil programme shows the government's commitment towards helping micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSME's) recover and regain capability and competitiveness post-pandemic. 20.2.2022 : THE Jamin Kerja Keluarga Malaysia (JaminKerja) initiative is seeking to create 600,000 jobs, with the aim of not only reducing unemployment in the country, but also reviving the local labour force following the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. With an allocation of RM4.8 bilion, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the initiative was a manifestation of the government's commitment to providing more holistic jobs, including to vulnerable and disabled groups, as well as offering hiring incentives to employers. 20.2.2022 : KUALA LUMPUR : The JaminKerja Keluarga Malaysia initiative will support the government's goal of reducing the unemployment rate by providing 600,000 job opportunities this year, says the Prime Minister. 9.2.2022 : KUALA LUMPUR : THE Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way families communicate, with many now using digital technology.
