NewStraitsTimes : A MONTH OF FREE RAPIDKL, KOMUTER RIDES

17.6.2022 : PUBLIC transportation services run by RapidKL and Komuter Services in the Klang Valley are free for a month from yesterday. The RapidKL services include Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), Light Rail Transit (LRT), Bus Rapid Transit, monorail and buses. For the Komuter services, the free rides involve the Tanjung Malim-Port Klang and Batu Caves-Pulau Sebang routes. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob made the annoucement when he officiated at the first phase of the Putrajaya MRT line yesterday.

The Star : 'Moveable' ceiling price to be introduced to improve food security

14.6.2022 : PUTRAJAYA : A 'moveable' ceiling price for certain food items and improved mechanisms in hiring expatriates and foreign workers are among measures to be taken to improve food security and tackle the shortage of skilled workers in the electrical and electronics sector, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. The Prime Minister said the Economic Action Council (EAC) had agreed that a "moveable" ceiling rate be introduced, whereby the maximum price for certain produce would vary according to the items' input price.

The Star : Enjoy free rides in Klang Valley for a month

17.6.2022 : KUALA LUMPUR : The Klang Valley's public transport network received a significant boost with the addition of 12 MRT stations with the Phase 1 opening of the Putrajaya MRT line from Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu. The unveiling was performed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob at the Kampung Batu MRT station here yesterday, who heaped on further good news by annoucing a month's free rides for services operated in the Klang Valley by Prasarana Malaysia Bhd and KTM Bhd.
