1.1.2023 : "UNITY" and "prosperity" were the common themes in New Year's greetings from the country's leaders as Malaysia ushered in 2023. Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, in their New Year message, said they hoped the people and the country would be blessed and protected from any calamity.
